In April we went to Southern China -- the Guangxi province (Guilin and Yangshuo) and the Yunnan province (Dali, Xizhou, Shaxi, and Shuhe Old Town outside Lijiang. We ended with a couple of nights in Hong Kong, just to finally see the place beyond the windows of the airport. We had a great time in China, rode in a couple of boats, rode bicycles, visited markets, tried to eat, and walked a lot of miles -- in other words, our kind of trip.
