In May, 2014 we spent just more than two weeks in Europe, an unusual destination for us. We call it our Greek trip, but we started with a solid day and a half in Paris. A very long layover, of sorts, long enough for a beautiful dinner and brunch, a couple of visits to Notre Dame (including the Gregorian Sunday mass), and plenty of walking around. Then off to Athens for a day and a half to see the ancient sites, on to Santorini for just shy of a sunset-filled week, and beyond that to Crete, for several beauty-filled days. It was magnificent.
