In November-December 2013, we took a trip to southern Sri Lanka—Colombo, Tangalle, Galle, Hatton, and Kandy. It was a wonderful trip to a beautiful place, with lovely warm people and fantastic food. One of our very best trips ever! In addition to cities, beaches, mountains, and tea estates, we saw right whales, dolphins, a sperm whale's spout and flukes, and a whole bunch of elephants.
