Oh we had a wonderful time returning to Indonesia. We were surprised to be in Bali on Silent Day (really, the whole island closes down, no flights in or out, no cars on the road, no electricity used); we loved the two places we went on Lombok -- a gorgeous beach and a volcano -- and we were perhaps most surprised by the wonder of little Rote Island, filled with goats and pigs and music.
